Click Tracks

What are some benefits of playing with a click track in worship.

Click tracks are a great resource in the worship enviroment and one of the many benefits of using them is that once your band can stay on the click track, you can then implement the ability to use drum loops, sequences, vocal tracks and a lot more.

Anyone who plays in a band knows how common it is for players to speed up when you are really into the song and the excitement starts to take over. Unfortunately, it can also cause a bad performances if your band isn’t particularly tight to begin with. This is the reason why professional bands now in days are playing to a click track as a way to create a better stage performance.

Here is a few tips on why you should use click tracks

  • First of all, It makes you a better musicians. Playing and practicing with a click will do just that.
  • Secondly and most important It keeps the band together. Worship bands – ususally – do not have the opportunity to play together as much as they might like, and we all know the more you play as a band the tighter you'l get.
  • Thrid, when a band becomes very familiar with a particular song, they can easily speed up the tempo of that song and it can become less of a challenge. There for click tracks will keep you in check.

I have created this custom click tracks to cut thorugh the mix and help guide you and become a better musician.
